Our client is undertaking a large, group wide, technology refresh and they need a 2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst/ IT Support Engineer to join their growing IT team. Based from their offices near Walsall site you will be responsible for the 2nd line desktop support of both remote and site based users. You will also get involved with all the key projects relating to the technology refresh. The environment is largely Microsoft based, so you will support Windows 10, O365, etc, as well as several key business applications. As a 2nd Line support Engineer you will be very busy! The role will require an individual who can multitask yet deliver exceptional customer service to a wide range of users. The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience: · At least 12 months experience of 2nd line support · Experience of supporting Microsoft - Windows 10, O365 · Knowledge of LAN/WAN and Active Directory · The ability to work well under pressure to strict SLA deadlines · Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner · Hold a full UK driving license experience of working in an ITIL environment will be of benefit.
