Support Worker, Didcot £11.88 -£13.38 per hour Part-time temporary work Free refresher training and great customer service An excellent ongoing support worker role for a top quality independent care provider in South Oxfordshire. This is a great role, supporting an autistic client in the home, encouraging her with household tasks and building independence, whilst managing challenging behaviour and working to maintain a settled environment. The client is high functioning and a good communicator and is capable but can be demanding. The role requires a staff member who is a good at developing good relationships with challenging clients. Duties also include some personal care and support with medication and epilepsy. Candidates should have certificated training within health and social care. Experience in autism or learning disabilities would be an advantage, as would experience of challenging behaviour. Free refresher training is available.
