Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect to help us to own the vision for Salesforce in a rapidly growing business with demanding goals. This is an opportunity to embark on an exciting journey as we scale the company across the US, UK and Europe, and work with full autonomy and ownership. In the next 12 months you will: * Take ownership of our Salesforce instance - help craft and execute a vision that enables our organization to utilize Salesforce across any business unit that will deliver value. * Evaluate the current Salesforce implementation based on functionality, usability, data integrity and accuracy and assessing where improvements can be made and deploy changes as quickly as they can be built using best-practice solutions. * Create valuable Salesforce reporting and dashboards to track KPIs and OKRs through understanding department/user functionality, usage and adoption. * Increase the efficiency of the Sales team by identifying opportunities to automate processes in Salesforce and other related sales stack systems through integration. * Build strong relationships with the teams you directly support - all customer/client-facing teams utilizing sales stack systems, including sales, account management, sourcing, ops, community, customer support, and CRM teams across our business. * Conduct continuous discovery, understanding their needs within the context of enabling them to better deliver on sales growth expectations. * By staying attuned to the landscape of available technologies and best practices in the industry - evaluate sales stack technologies and methods to provide for continued enhancement to the automation of manual processes and enhanced efficiencies for all sales team members. * Measure the impact that the work your team completes through an appropriate blend of internal operational and external experience KPIs. Own the communication of this progress in a way that allows stakeholders to engage and understand the value of the work being delivered. * Wherever appropriate, adopt a scientific, iterative approach to problem-solving, rapidly identifying the obstacles that stand in the way of achieving your team's goals, and the next steps to overcoming these obstacles. Constantly seek out the smallest change that delivers the highest value. Advocate for and educate others in adopting this approach. * Wherever relevant, conduct user/competitor research and socialise your findings, using your insights to arrive at the most impactful solutions as well as anticipating and solving for problems before they arise. Determine when to base a decision on data (and which data) vs when to go with your gut. Communicate clearly on the basis of your decisions, and defend them wherever appropriate. * Act as a consultant to other team managers when delivering features or functionality that impacts the teams you support, ensuring the right requirements and acceptance criteria are considered and delivered. * Support your own product team in becoming an increasingly high performing, working with engineering, BI and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for the team to work more effectively, build more trust and deliver better solutions. 90 Day Plan * Become an expert in our Salesforce instances * * Field review - removal of superfluous and unused fields and creation of validation rules for mandatory fields * Field documentation * Process documentation * Build out a sourcing process for formals to help Mack decrease time from request to quote * Build out our quoting system using Proposable * Support the delivery of the inventory management system from Nubik * SE Account Management process in SF (Kelly's project on Projects) * Support delivery of Pollen in SF * Implement case management system * Develop a training and onboarding program for new and existing employees across both platforms Requirements A history of experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to rapidly assess technological landscapes and deliver measurable business results through a Salesforce implementation. * 5+ years of salesforce platform experience * Administrator & developer experience * Experience with a wide range of implementations and integrations * Experience across numerous organizations and instances of Salesforce * Salesforce certification (Admin, Developer, Architect, Consultant) Benefits Pollen is building a platform which enables our global network of advocates to sell products and services they love to their friends in exchange for unique experiences and rewards.
