Job Description
Our client is looking for a number of Study Lead Clinical Data Managers (office or Home based) to join their dynamic and exciting team who have proven experience within Oncology. The role requires comprehensive data management expertise, leadership skills, vision, project planning, execution and close-out, alongside financial management, communication skills and milestone delivery. Location: Home based in UK, but will consider other EU countries. They offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Flexible working options * Excellent career development opportunities Role Responsibilities: * Study and customer management including direct negotiations covering timelines, finance, process and resource * Establish strong communication with, and provide support to, the Data Operations Coordinator, Data Operations Team members, functional leads, project managers and other stake holders * Escalation point for unresolved data issues; working with vendors and internal team members for their resolution * Create, review and sign off on all Data Management Plan documents * Implement quality management plans, tracking performance and providing leadership to identify causes of issues and implementing remedial action plans * Train and mentor junior staff in DM expertise * Maintain internal tracking databases and systems * Manage scope of work, finance and resource Person Specification: * Minimum 6 months working on Oncology Trials * Experience of database management across a range of oncology trial phases * Experience of working with Recist criteria or equivalent * Experience of working with local laboratories * Proven competence in managing the delivery of multiple projects through the full DM life-cycle * Excellent project management, communication, interpersonal, customer service, organisational, problem-solving and teamwork skills * Ability to work independently * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, manager and customers
