Job Description

dunnhumby is looking for a talented Product Manager! You will act as the Product Owner for a single product or series of products and work with the senior product manager to understand and prioritise development requirements for the assigned product area (interviewing and working with clients, users, and non-users). You will work collaboratively with the technical teams to create and achieve a set of deliverable technical objectives. What you'll be doing: Act as the scrum product owner. Create and own the product backlog, including ownership of story level sprint backlogs. Lead user story creation and estimation sessions. Work with the Senior Product Manager to prioritise the detailed product backlog, working with technical teams to ensure sprint level releases are aligned to the strategic product roadmap. Document requirements: write user stories ensuring that conditions of acceptance are well defined and are created in accordance with Business-Driven Development (BDD) criteria and best practice. Support Development: Discuss requirements with Development teams providing business context, making feature and design trade-offs, performing test and sprint reviews - escalating where necessary to the Senior Product Manager. Manage the role out of the product within the business (e.g. system and process updates, communications and training to all appropriate areas) as well as internal and external trials. Support the Learning team to produce training and education materials for internal and external upskilling. Provide input to the Senior Product Manager to contribute to the overall build of the product roadmap. Work with the Product Support team to ensure that they have the relevant upskilling on the products and that high priority issues are resolved in a timely manner. Monitor market dynamics and identify opportunities and threats for dunnhumby for the assigned products. Run research on existing users, supporting the Senior Product Manager to gather feedback from sales, support and other channels including Win/Loss analysis. Conduct analysis and planning, defining buyer and user personas and working with project managers and technical teams to produce cost estimates for business cases. Work with propositions teams and analyse metrics that inform the success of products e.g. client impact/value creation, usage data from Google Analytics. Participate in commercial activity, working with design partner clients to shape detailed product requirements and use cases. Develop a good understanding of the business model and drivers as well as predicting and subsequently evaluating the impact of product changes. Actively demonstrate dunnhumby values and behaviours.
