We create brilliant digital brand experiences and our in-house team design, develop and build a bespoke proprietary technology platform that is used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide. About THG Studios: The Hut Group has now opened a new exciting creative agency offering called THG Studios, Following THGs acquisition and integration in 2017 of the UKs leading content studio, Hangar 7 & Brand House not only now working with THG many well known brands but now extend our services to the likes of Nestle and P&G. To add to this creative studios growth we are building a new development called ICON, the Groups new content creation studio, At Manchester Airport, which will expand the Groups content production capabilities dramatically. The ICON development, which will be delivered by ICON Industrial, will provide an extra 104,000 sq. ft. of office space over four floors as well as additional content creation facilities totalling 168,000 sq. ft. ICON will house c2,000 people who will be focused on video production and photography, to be used across THGs digital offering. Requirements ABOUT YOU: Youll be an experienced Animator, ideally with minimum 2-3 years' experience producing a variety of outputs including motion-graphics and compositing. 3D experience would be a benefit (working alongside our existing in-house 3D artists) but not a necessity. Youll be an expert in After Effects, and able to transform a range of artwork and ideas into fluid and engaging animations. Youll be used to creating fully animated films and provide animated assets as-part of a wider film project. Your content will be seen on anything from mobile phones to 50-foot LED displays at live events, so youll understand the nuances of delivering for different formats. Your projects will often be conceptual so compositing also plays an important part of your output, with renders often used for press-releases. Requirements * A team player with a hands-on approach and a strong work ethic. * 2-3 years minimum experience in motion graphics/animation. * Professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills. * Excellent time management and organisational skills. * Exceptional creativity and innovation, with accuracy and attention to detail. * Commercially minded when scoping ideas. * Flexibility to switch between several projects at once. * Excellent technical skills with a broad comprehension of After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop (and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite, relevant software/plugins like Mocha, etc.) * Cinema 4D experience is bonus, but not required * A strong understanding of post-production processes.
