Company Description Lab OS/SW support: Job Description Lab OS/SW support: * Deployment and support of automated OS provisioning infrastructure * Testing OS provisioning automation frameworks in customer environment * Configuring OS installation & customization automations per customer requirements * OS installation using internal and external builds, automated and manual OS provisioning techniques, procedures and customer requirements * Performing OS configuration, software installations, troubleshooting and issues resolution including issues related to network, authentication, remote access, storage * Performing security patching including working with users to schedule downtime * Enabling and supporting virtualization solutions in labs at both hypervisor and VMs level Qualifications Lab Hardware support: * Hardware landing, move and end-of-life including assembling and disassembling * Hardware upgrades and parts replacements, Firmware updates * Hardware troubleshooting and issues resolution including searching for suitable replacement parts, working with external vendors for on warranty systems, working with internal support teams. * Asset tracking systems updates about lab systems status and configuration * Lab Monitoring services * Hardware walkthrough diagnosis and resolution of found issues * Checking monitoring reports/alerts and resolution of found issues Skills Requirements: * TCP/IP knowledge with working experience to troubleshoot system network connectivity issues. * Windows system administration experience e.g. Windows client, Windows Server * Knowledge and experience of virtualization solutions e.g. VMware * HW troubleshooting experience incl. server platforms and not stable pre-release samples. * Experience in configuration and support of network services and applications such as DNS, DHCP, NIS, SSH, NFS, X11, VNC. * Linux system administration experience e.g. SLES, RHEL, Ubuntu - will be an advantage * Scripting skills such as Bash, Perl, Python, Windows PowerShell - will be an advantage * Ability to build/compile OS drivers and tool chains - will be an advantage Additional Information Thanks & Regards, Geeta Sharma Sr. Associate - Recruitment Infotree Service Inc.
