We have a unique Relief Carer role working out in the community providing hands-on personal care and support with daily living; helping people remain as independent as possible. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives, enabling our clients to live well at home. You will support our team of committed Carers by covering their shifts during planned absence. If you are looking for flexible and variable shifts that are always planned at least a week in advance, this could be the role for you. Whether you are starting off your career, returning to the workplace or looking for change, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. * Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts within the service delivery times of 7.00am to 10.00pm, including weekends * It is essential that you have access to a vehicle for work * Enthusiastic, friendly and passionate about working with older people * Excellent communication skills, able to work on own initiative Job benefits * Competitive rates of pay, plus £1 an hour enhancement for weekends and double time for bank holidays * Equivalent to 30 days paid annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to the equivalent of 33 after 5 years' service (pro rata) * Comprehensive and flexible induction provided * Free DBS Check and Uniform provided * Paid travel time as well as paid mileage at 38p (per mile) * Cycle to Work Scheme * Pension Scheme - Death In Service Cover Included * Company Sick Pay - Linked to length of service * Care First Employee Assistance Programme, which provides a range of free confidential services
