About the role We are looking for an outstanding strategic and executive leader, reporting to our Head of Product this role has high levels of C-Suite interaction and is a key hire to further scale and grow the 10x business. Therefore we are only looking for outstanding candidates with a demonstrable and industry referable drive, vision and experience of delivering software products to market and/or large scale, high growth financial service change. This is a unique opportunity to lead one of our 4 product areas, developing the strategy, defining the product and executing the delivery to build a high growth product on a global scale. We want to build on an industry leading set of APIs that enable our clients to build and launch their banking and payment services seamlessly as such technical experience and understanding of the latest cloud, platform and API products are a significant advantage. As a senior leadership role within a fast scaling organisation Product Leads at 10x own their product domain, including recruitment, leadership and development of their team which includes Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, SMEs and Designers- each domain is circa 20 colleagues. Working within a matrix environment a close working relationship with your technical counterparts enables ownership of the full end-to-end lifecycle from design to code to client experience, to product management. Responsibilities * Establish a comprehensive core capability for the 10x platform for tomorrows financial services market which is compliant against todays banking environment. * Define a coherent and executable strategy for your product area, that meets existing client commitments, gets investment buy-in and grows your product. * Working with your team of product professionals define a clear, pragmatic and value based Product Area vision, and roadmap for each product domain. * Collaborate with analysts, architects and developers across the business to ensure coherent mapping of requirements to your 10x product domain. * Clearly communicate project status and technical concepts with others. * Contribute to design of new functionality and expanding existing functionality, applying a value lens to your product domain. * Work collaboratively with your engineering feature team to design and develop your product. * Become the Subject Matter Expert for capability with the ability to present that solution to a wide range of audiences, from technical to business managers; from our engineering team to our customers digital banking executives; internally and externally to the business. Requirements * Minimum of 10 years professional experience in software products or financial services digital delivery. * Delivery of high growth software products to market or financial services technology execution, * Previously held senior leadership positions and experience working collaboratively in a cross functional team and matrix. * Experience in implementation of solutions within consumer and/or commercial banking. * In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies & disciplines * Demonstrable high levels of integrity and desire to make a positive impact within the business and society * An enthusiastic self-starter who looks for new ways of working, explores best practices and delivers imaginative approaches to communication challenges * An enthusiastic leader excited by the prospect of being a key senior member of a financial services technology firm that is working to transform the industry * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and comfortable working with and coaching, in-house and off-shore teams Domain Expertise Payment Product Lead: This role will encompass all the attributes aligned to the Product Lead skill-set, however the successful candidate will possess a background that enables the successful delivery of the 10x Payment Product Area. Key domain level attributes are: * Proven experience of payment systems and their implementation with design and delivery of technical capabilities across transactional processing, settlement and reconcillation * Implementation experience in financial services (ideally consumer and commercial banking) * Exposure to micro-service platform architectures and ability to work with and understand technical specifications i.e. API Contracts, Back-end services, SDKs * Product Management (P&L, billing or monetisation) an advantage. * Digital product development, data and technical experience through the agile de
