Job Description
About the Position: Title: Digital Architect Job Type: Full Time Regular Reports to: Director, Enterprise Architecture Position Overview: The Digital Architect will assist in driving the customer experience using technology to transform the business and improve our competitive position. This position will focus on creating a seamless customer experience by focusing on the integration between business applications, cloud applications, Web, IoT, security and AI. This role will also work with other groups to validate and implement the use of common frameworks, APIs and enterprise services. Responsibilities: + Provide technical expertise in architecting and designing a Customer Portal and Partner Portal solution for Terex + Architect and implement infrastructure for integration of applications that best meets our Customer Experience vision + Design a next generation authentication framework across applications and enterprise + Develop, Implement and Deliver new Web based solutions + Prioritize tasks and assign responsibility + Ensure strict adherence to deadlines Knowledge, skills and abilities: + Ability to compare various web based technology solutions to a problem to make a recommendation + Ability to implement full stack technology solutions, including distributed middle-tier and correctly modelled APIs + Experience with Next Generation Authentication (NGA), Authentication/Authorization Framework, SSO, IDM, Azure AD, ADFS, WS-Federation, multi-factor authentication, SAML, or Privileged Access Management Essential criteria: + Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Computer Science field + Significant experience in architecting web based or customer facing business solutions + Significant experience with modern software development technologies, for example: Oracle Cloud, XML, ASP.NET, Azure DevOps, Azure, Eclipse, AWS, GCF, NodeJS, and Angular JS, or Javascript + Leadership experience within a technology implementation context Desirable criteria: + Experience with AI like chatbots + Experience with server side web programming languages + Experience working with Agile/SCRUM methodologies + Exposure to working in rapid prototyping Travel: + Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time The successful candidate must also be a team player and be able to demonstrate strong customer focus with the energy, drive and commitment to successfully work through any and all issues and objectives related to this role and that of the overall team.
