Job Summary **The Benefits Manager is responsible for scoping, implementing and maintaining employee benefits across the EMEA region. This comprises 17 countries (countries with very small employee populations typically get a benefits allowance) and 27 employing entities. Benefits provision currently is fragmented, and a key opportunity for this role is to identify and implement opportunities for simplification, benefit provision improvement, improvement to the employee experience and cost savings by leveraging our total benefits position. The role currently interfaces with over 40 external suppliers and brokers. The role includes responsibility for pensions and other employee benefits such as medical cover, life insurance, meal vouchers, etc. The UK (where the majority of employees are based) has some level of flexible benefits administered through an on line portal.** The role will be part time (3 days per week), based in the South East of England (London - Fleet Place / Goswell Road, Basingstoke or Winnersh) and will be supported by an administration role which will be responsible for tracking and processing Purchase Orders, Invoices etc. Job Description Thought leadership on benefits practice to ensure our benefits approach supports our strategic HR agenda of being the Home for Outstanding Talent Scope and deliver the benefits agenda for the EMEA region Manage suppliers and advisors to ensure delivery of existing benefits and the mange the introduction to new benefits or change to existing benefits as required. Work closely with Payroll, HR Shared Services and Finance teams in particular to ensure a positive employee experience. Lead renewal activities and ensure tracking of budgets and payments, supported by the administrator role. Ensure awareness of legislative changes and appropriate compliance in all EMEA countries. Support to pension trustees to ensure pension administration and obligations are met Working with external advisors and trustees on pension scheme specific activities such as valuations, buy outs. Administration of the Choices flexible benefits platform Resolution of benefits issues as required, for example systematic issues with a benefit or a mismatch of benefit provision with contractual entitlement. Individual benefit queries are addressed in the first instance to the HR Shared Service team but this role will assist in resolving some of these. Liaison with the Global Benefits Team to ensure knowledge sharing Qualifications Minimum Requirements + Experience of leading international benefits provision (EMEA) + Experience in supporting pension schemes + Experience in setting up new benefits programmes + Professional insight to offer sound advice on benefits + Ability to work independently + Numeracy and detail focus Preferred Requirements + Experience in employee communications.
