A fantastic opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator has arisen to work for a well-established and progressive local business. Working for a dynamic and fast paced organisation who are forward thinking and continuously growing. As the Purchasing Administrator you will be supporting three Buyers and Brand Managers within a range of procurement duties, working to tight deadlines. Job Description: * As the Purchasing Administrator you will be supporting the Buyer with various procurement activities including raising and managing purchase orders and producing various purchasing support. * You will be liaising with suppliers, agents, both within the UK and Overseas regarding purchasing requirements and costing out products. * As the Purchasing Administrator you will be sourcing and chasing product quotes to meet purchasing requirements. * You will also be responsible for sourcing product quotes and chasing where appropriate as well as handling product samples, liaising with our internal QA Department and suppliers where necessary. * General support to the buying team and purchasing department. Candidate Requirements: * Previous experience working within a purchasing/procurement/buying department or sales/ purchasing administration role would be ideal * Flexible, especially in busy periods preparing for tradeshows * Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport * Good Numeracy Skills * Quick Learner * Computer Literate (Microsoft Office skills) * Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative, as required This role would suit people who also have the following experience: purchasing admin, procurement, buying, sales administration , expediting Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm Salary: 16,500 - 18,000 per annum Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
