PHP Web Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PHP Web Developer to join our well-established client in their established and fast-growing IT Department. Working within a dynamic and proactive Office, you'll have excellent industry knowledge and an array of IT skill sets. Job Description: * As a PHP Developer you will be responsible for the integration of products for various online catalogues. * Be responsible for the various integrations available across the organisation to ensure all corporate websites are working efficiently. * As a PHP Developer you will work with Front End Developer to create consumer friendly feeds to power ecommerce websites. * As a PHP Developer you will be setting up/ building e-commerce websites including connecting payment gate ways * Assist in additional tasks as deemed appropriate by line manager * Working within a busy, fast paced development team, you'll need to be goal orientated and understand the importance of deadlines; both working on projects alone and in a highly skilled team. Candidate Requirements: For your role as a PHP Developer you will have a wide variety of skill sets in the following: * CURL for external API integration * MVC Frameworks * My SQL queries * JavaScript (with focus on Firefox/Chrome compatibility) * Linux command line/administration * XML, creating, extracting data and manipulation * JQuery + JQueryUI * Twitter's Bootstrap v2/3/4 JS modules * CSS, similar to JS requirement * Twitter's Bootstrap v2/3/4 * XSLT * JSON * Understanding of an Agile environment * PHP, version 5+, focus on OOP (Object Oriented Programming) Hours: 9:00am till 5:30pm Salary: 32,000 to 40,000 This role would suit people who also have the following experience: PHP Developer, Back-end PHP developer, PHP Web Developer Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
