With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation you will have the time to develop meaningful relationships and provide real support. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust which enables us to provide personalised support. You will need to travel between clients homes during your shift. Job Description We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Leek and surrounding area . Working within a team environment you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help keep our clients safe and well at home independently. You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others. If you haven't worked in care before do not worry, its your kind caring nature that will be invaluable to the clients Qualifications A CAREGiver spends time with the same regular clients, building great working relationships. You have to be sociable as you may be the only person the client sees during the day, this involves providing companionship and putting a smile on some ones face. You will need to be supportive and be there if the client has lost confidence to help themselves in and out of the shower or bath. You might have to pop to the shops to pick up a few things or help with housework. And there may be times when you will be asked to accompany a client to hospital appointments or social events. Listening to client's stories of their lives and finding out about the person you are sharing time with is a very important part of your role as well as being a team player and working with others to care and support clients..
