We are sourcing candidates for the following positions: + Transport Planners - All levels + Transport Modellers - All levels The team workload ranges from feasibility studies to scheme designs, working with a variety of clients both from the public and private sector including design & build partnerships with contractors. Current projects being undertaken by our UK&I teams include: + Second Strategic Transport Projects Review, Transport Scotland + Road Investment Strategy 2, Highways England + National Road Network Strategy 2040, Transport Infrastructure Ireland + Greater Manchester Metrolink Transport Model, TfGM + Smart Mobility Hub, Dublin City Council + Smart Network, Smarter Choices, Transport for West Midlands + Thameslink Programme Baseline Evaluation + Transforming Cities Fund, North East Combined Authority + Low Emission Zone Guidance, Transport Scotland + Clean Air Zone, Newcastle City Council + Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) ,DfT Minimum Requirements We would like to hear from candidates who are able to offer experience and proficiency in two or more of the key areas; + Experience in Transport Planning studies + Experience with report writing and presentations + Understanding of appraisal requirements and confidence in working with the transport modelling team + Strong analytical abilities + An undergraduate degree in a relevant analytical subject (e.g. mathematics, physics, engineering, geography, economics or computer science); + A good understanding of the principles of transport planning or modelling; + Experience in transport modelling and forecasting; + Understanding of transport planning software packages, including at least one of SATURN, VISUM, Emme or CUBE + Knowledge of the transport economic appraisal process; Preferred Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree Level Qualification or higher in a related field + Master's Degree + Member of a professional organisation (or working towards professional membership) Your benefits will include: Helping our employees achieve a healthy work-life balance is important to us.
