A fantastic permanent opportunity has become available for a UPS Engineer, located around the London area. Our client is a nationwide Specialist in the UPS and power industry with ambition to become a world-renowned manufacture of Uninterruptable Power Supplies meaning there is fantastic scope for progression. The position of UPS Engineer is ideal for an experienced electrician with field service experience as our client offers fantastic in-house training. For the role of a UPS Engineer, you will be required to; * Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance as well as commissioning activities on Electric UPS and associated power products * Working in the test area of the workshop for the first two months to get trained up on relevant UPS systems. * Adhere to all health & safety regulations within a critical environment * Travel to customer sites and respond to call outs in a timely manner * Assist in the correct ordering of parts etc. * Work necessary over time hours in order to meet the current and future business needs * Provide a high level of communication with Customers peers and team member in order to assist in addressing customer issues and promoting the Business * Assist Service coordination / planners as necessary in order to achieve customer satisfaction To be considered for the role of UPS Engineer, you should have; * Relevant electrical experience * Technical knowledge of UPS and electrical systems including; HV and LV systems, BMS/monitoring, data centres and industrial applications * Excellent communication skills (Written/Verbal) * Experience within an electrical field service role * Previous experience within a security system field of work would be beneficial (CCTV and Fire Alarms) In return, the package for the successful candidate will include; * Basic salary between £30,000 - £32,000 * Fantastic overtime opportunities * Engineers likely to reach £40,000 (OTE) * 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays * On call dependent on area (roughly 1 in 5) * Van, phone, laptop * Door - Door pay
