Job Description

July onward start In this role you will report into the Director, Product and Technology Finance and will spend your time providing performance analysis and decision support to multiple lines of business in the Product and Technology organization. You will cover all aspects of the P&L and support all commercial and investment decisions required to run a successful business. Responsibilities include month-end close activities, building annual plans and tracking performance against these plans. Strategic Goals & Deliverables: * Providing full financial support to the Product and Technology functions - applying current financial and accounting standards, policies and controls, producing robust business plans, budgets and quarterly forecasts, becoming a proactive and trusted advisor to the business * Provides accurate, transparent and timely financial reporting of functional/operational KPIs to support leadership in the decision-making process utilizing standardized reporting * Maintains, produces and communicates a relevant and impactful set of project and operational metrics * Acquire an in-depth understanding of the Product and Technology business in order to provide effective support to business partners across the organization * Ensuring strong financial controls are in place to ensure confidence in data being provided * Drive efficiencies in processes within and outside of the product and technology organization Competencies: * Customer focus: keeps internal and external customers at the heart of everything, identifies customer needs, challenges and risks and builds and delivers solutions that exceed customer expectations * Problem Solving - Analytics and Communication - Through analysis, innovation and expertise, solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business. Gains the trust and support of others and demonstrates and ability to influence outcomes. Ability to partner and build relationships across functions in a matrix organization to achieve shared objectives. Demonstrates a personal commitment to team goals and nurturing an inclusive culture of continuous improvement Relevant financial experience including: * 3+ years of financial planning & analysis experience, supporting both revenue generating and cost functions; experience with forecasting and budgeting; financial modelling; * Charted accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) * Works effectively in an international and matrix environment * Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial performance systems (SAP, NetSuite, TM1 a plus) ***** The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
