You will be given the opportunity to put together presentations, white papers and lunch and learn webinars for your colleagues and peers which the business may promote from time to time. Youll need to support wider testing initiatives, such as manual testing, but also support other areas where a strong coding background is required. Being a consultancy our clients come first, and with that client-driven approach we are required to travel and work on client-site according to their requirements. We try our best to assign our Consultants to projects close to home but it's not always possible. Therefore a flexible approach to travelling and staying away (which is of course fully expensable) would be preferred. Requirements As an Automation Test Architect you'll be a key pillar in the way Infuse operates. Your role will vary from being involved in pre-sales, technical bid writing, proof of concepts through to being the first Infuse person on a project; designing frameworks, working with clients to understand how they want technology to perform for them. We envisage this role being multi-client and technically leading our team of engineering consultants. You'll report into our Head of Technical Practices and help us shape our future technical direction. We're looking for a blend of the following tech and experience - we're not expecting you to know everything because that's impossible! * Test Automation tools and frameworks: useMango, Micro Focus Suite ADM: UFT, Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, Gherkin, Jasmine, Nightwatch, Protractor, Robot Framework, Smartbear Test Complete, OATS and REST libraries * Service Virtualisation: Mockito, Stubit, SoapUI, Service Virtualization (Micro Focus, IBM, Parasoft) * Performance: LoadRunner, Performance Center, JMeter, Gatling, StormRunner, The Grinder, Oracle Load Test * Test management and SDLC Collaboration tools: Confluence, JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, Slack, ALM-QC, ALM.Octane, Silk Central, CA Agile Requirements Designer, TFS, Service Now, and MTM * Containerisation, CI and Deployment: Chef, Puppet, Jenkins/Drone/Gitlab, Fabric 8, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven, Bamboo, etc * Cloud Based Services such as AWS, Azure, and Google * Strong coding experience in one or more of VBS, Ruby, C#, VB.NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Groovy * Strong ability to design and write engineering artefacts beyond just code * Strong ability to design and write automation scripts * Digital services, micro service architectures and data services * Packaged Applications: SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Applications, OFM, Salesforce, SuccessFactors * Good knowledge of Automation Triangle * Stakeholder management at all levels, ability to work with all relevant parties (project, supplier technical teams, internal technical teams, service delivery, and so forth) to ensure an effective test service is maintained throughout the delivery lifecycle * Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, training and other aspects as required * Understanding of the business objectives to be able to offer any value-add proposals or innovations, when appropriate * Excellent Presentation to technical and non-technical audiences * Excellent written and oral English * ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing Applicants only with valid visa to work in the UK may apply.
