BIG DATA ENGINEER- TELECOMMUNICATIONS BIG DATA ENGINEER/ DATA ENGINEER/ INTERSITE CONNECTIVITY/ QOS/ VULNERABILITIES/ AUDIT REVIEW/ SOFTWARE REVIEW/ TELECOMMUNICATIONS £300-385 Per Day-PAYE Sheffield 6 Months Contract- Extensions Likely You will be responsible for leading in providing Telecommunications Services that enable the GBGFs, including Datacentre Networks, Contact Centre & Contact Centre desktop applications ,Branch, Campus and International Networks, Internet and Network Security, Trade Floor and Media Recording(Dealer Turrets, Voice Recording and analytics), Voice, Video and conferencing and corresponding tools and testing facilities Key Responsibilities: -Intersite connectivity and QOS or vulnerabilities/audit and software review/approval Setup automation Team(s) to increase efficiency and reduce time spent undertaking tasks Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity Deliver and operate Telecommunications business services that utilise appropriate infrastructure technology solutions such that they are efficient, cost optimal and highly resilient, in collaboration with business and Technology stakeholders Lead the global teams responsible for engineering, deploying base environments and operating the core IT infrastructure platform technology and solutions that run in Telecommunications globally. Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered Telecommunication services Business stakeholder management to define product roadmaps and keep other areas the organisation informed about the Technological infrastructure capabilities available Write development code, understand a DevOps Continuous Integration /Continuous Delivery pipeline, and build automated test scripts (for infrastructure products and upgrades), and build automation interfaces between systems In the first instance please submit your CV
