Overview
Interim Financial Accountant Our client a multi discipline group, are recruiting for a Financial Accountant / Statutory Accountant on a contract basis for approx. 3-6 months based in Nottingham You will be ACCA / ACA qualified, preferably from a practice background or have considerable experience of statutory reporting and knowledge of IFRS accounting standards. Duties will include: Taking accountability for submission of the financial results and reporting to senior and executive management and external stakeholders Ensure that reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts for all entities are prepared and checked Audit planning Complete and submit VAT returns for multiple entities Take the lead on the external audit process, being the main point of contact for any queries Work with the Finance Director on other projects The successful candidate will be: fully qualified accountant with a proven track record of producing statutory accounts and working effectively and delivering to tight deadlines. This position is looking to start in April
