Java Developer, Java Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer Benefits include flexi working/1-2 days a week remote. This is an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer to join an insur-tech company who have grown rapidly in recent years and expect significant scale and international expansion this/next year. As the Java Developer you will be responsible for leading the development of the product; recruiting, mentoring and nurturing an engineering team typically comprised of software engineers, quality assurance engineers and DevSecOps. Java Developer Qualities: You are passionate about quality in product engineering. You like to evidence base the software development lifecycle in order to improve it. You are bold in challenging in-grained practices that you can demonstrate do not produce results. You relish getting stuck into the tech, contributing to software and systems design, coding some of the time, but always with an eye on end to end delivery. Java Developer: Demonstrable experience in product engineering and how to fine tune the software development process. A spectrum of technical expertise. Knowledge of building maintainable products. Experience of microservice architectures, Java and Spring, RESTful APIs. Appreciation of full stack engineering. Well versed in CI\CD and building pipelines for the test and delivery of robust products. Experience of cloud computing, ideally in AWS.
