Commis Chef - Bray, Maidenhead - Luxury Hotel We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef to join the brigade. The main duties of the Commis will be to support the team to deliver amazing quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cuisine is a modern take on British classics, with produce sourced from local suppliers and the surrounding gardens and countryside. The Place Our client is a luxury hotel in an historic building, set in picturesque location in Bray, Maidenhead. The hotel has recently been refurbished and hosts beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with a stunning Brasserie restaurant, lounge bar and meeting and events operations. The Perks As Commis Chef you can expect the following: A competitive hourly rate of £8.40 working a minimum of 45 hours per week Service charge of around £6,000 per annum The opportunity to prepare dishes using the highest quality fresh, locally sourced ingredients Fantastic development opportunities under a fantastic Head Chef striving to achieve accolades Shuttle bus service available for employees from Maidenhead train station The Person The ideal Commis Chef will have the following: Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level Good knife skills High standards of food hygiene As the hotel is located in Bray on the outskirts of Maidenhead, having your own reliable transport will be essential All candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a relevant and valid work permit or visa to live and work in the UK.
