Junior Sous Chef - 2 AA Rosette restaurant - Beaconsfield We are currently recruiting a Sous Chef to join a brigade who are imaginative, creative and most importantly driven to be a part of a team with the desire to be the best in the area. The Junior Sous Chef will support the Sous and Head Chef with running the team and deputise in their absence. The Place Our client is an independent group of award-winning country pubs and bistros, each boasting 2 AA Rosettes and the pubs having Michelin Bib Gourmands too. As a group they are focused on modern British cuisine using seasonal, fresh ingredients to create menus loaded with passion and imagination. This site is a modern restaurant in Beaconsfield with an amazing kitchen garden. The Perks As Junior Sous Chef you can expect the following: A competitive salary of up to £24,000 Great tips - £5,000 - £6,500 The ability to produce dishes with fresh, locally sourced ingredients Ongoing development opportunities within a rosette environment Free parking Free meals on duty A fun, engaging, rewarding role with plenty of support The Person The ideal Junior Sous Chef will have the following: Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen, ideally at 2 AA Rosette level The ability to handle a section on a busy service and deputise for the Sous Chef The confidence to prepare fresh food dishes from scratch High standards of food hygiene Flexibility to cover shifts as required - 45-50 hours per week over 5 days As the pub is located in Beaconsfield, having means of transport to this area is essential All candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a relevant and valid work permit or visa to live and work in the UK.
