Software Tester - Manchester - £40k My client is currently seeking a Software Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst with good experience of Automation and Manual software testing. The ability to work alongside multiple software developers and a Business Analyst is also required for this well-established, industry leading financial services organisation in Manchester. The successful Software Tester will be working as part of the Digital Development team within an Agile environment. Essential Skills Required Automated testing experience ( Selenium Web Driver with C# or Java) Web and Device testing (mobile and cross browser) API testing Agile Methodologies Bug tracking tools Web testing experience SQL programming Excellent attention to detail Good communication Ability to work within a true Agile team with a BA, developers and Product Owners Desirables: Continuous integration testing framework experience Financial services industry experience ISTQB qualification Previous experience working with onshore and offshore teams The Roles: This is a great role for a Software Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst to join a fast-paced environment. You will be working with very talented software developers and Business Analysts within this product team. There will be a great opportunity to home in on your existing automation software testing knowledge. Your role consists of running test cases based on functional specifications, requirements and designs for software based projects. Ensuring software functions by doing functionality testing as well as logic & accuracy testing to ensure data is being transmitted and stored. You will be ensuring that the software is accessible to all users and that the public-facing applications are not vulnerable to SQL injection, cross-site or other common exploits.
