Overview

Server Engineer - 6 month FTC Server Engineer (x2) required to join a Glasgow based client on an initial 6-month fixed term contract. Within this role, you will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and support of the infrastructure environment across the enterprise estate. You will be tasked with day to day support and troubleshooting of issues within the company's infrastructure services ensuring you work within agreed SLAs within an ITIL environment. You will be involved in a variety of Infrastructure projects spanning from day to day operational improvements to new service delivery solutions. You will be a seasoned Infrastructure professional with in-depth experience across a range of infrastructure platforms the successful candidate will be passionate about technology and eager to develop their skillset. Alongside an extensive technical knowledge, you will have experience of working with a variety of high-level stakeholders to represent the Infrastructure function at Group level and will contribute to overall IT strategy. Key Skills and Responsibilities Providing 3rd line technical support across the IT Infrastructure environment Administration of Windows Servers- Ideally, 2008 R2 / 2012 R2 and 2016 Excellent Virtualisation skills - VMware vSphere 6.x Experienced of administration and troubleshooting within Exchange / Skype Experience of Active Directory / Group Policy Administration Ensuring that all incidents problems and requests are progressed and updated ITIL Foundation Level Certified Knowledge of WAN / LAN If you would like some more info before you apply, please get in touch with Shane Gray at Cathcart Associates .
