Are you an Assistant/ Production Manager with strong management skills coupled with proven ability to oversee process operations? Our client is a worldwide food manufacturer in Worcester and they are seeking an experienced Assistant/ Production Manager to lead continuous improvement activity across the site. If you are a strong Assistant Production Manager and you want to work for a global food/ FMCG leader, please apply now The Job Role: As Assistant Production Manager, your role will entail: Supporting the day to day running of the production area Leading continuous improvement programmes and implementing team initiatives to deliver targets Working alongside the Production and Engineering Manager to implement strategic goals Ensuring all company procedures are adhered to at all times Completing return to work interviews and absence reviews Supporting team members in order to carry out manufacturing best practice Conducting formal meeting in line with company policies Any other reasonable task as requested by Senior Management Experience / Requirements: You MUST have previous experience within a Production Management role You will have experience from within a FMCG/ engineering/ food background You will be a strong Manager with the ability to deal with new and long standing staff and implement new procedures You MUST have experience of managing teams of 20 staff You will have experience with HR issues – appraisals/ disciplinaries etc. Must have experience within health and safety – IOSH standard The Package: Working for a global market leading food/ FMCG business Salary – Up to £37,000 DOE Favourable day shift – flexibility required to cover 24 hour operation Additional benefits package If you are currently an Assistant/ Production Manager and are looking for your next challenge, then please apply today Job ref.
