Location: Southampton Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 Title: Digital Search Specialist Hours of work – Mon-Fri 08:30 – 5:30pm An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global organisation as a Digital Search Specialist within the UK & Ireland Marketing division. The role: To effectively and efficiently lead the SEO strategy, maintaining strong relations with internal teams to deliver industry-leading insights and analysis. The role will work closely with the Digital team to maximise opportunities on the company`s UK & Ireland’s own brand website, as well as supporting the wider marketing team and working with external media agencies to maximise ROI through paid search campaigns. Duties for Digital Search Specialist will include: Develop and execute a best in class SEO strategy across all product categories to drive revenue on .com, including keyword research as well as meta-title and on-page recommendations. Own the performance and reporting of the Organic Search channel. Conduct in-depth and regular audits of the UK and Ireland sites and competitor performance analysis. Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and the EMEA web team to continually develop our SEO presence, ensuring requirements are understood and delivered in line with SEO best practice. Support the retail marketing team with ad hoc SEO requests; attend all relevant meetings and planning sessions. Track, report and analyse SEO campaign performance data from SEO campaigns and strategies. Provide competitive analysis of top-ranking competitor sites and provide actionable insight. Set the paid search strategy and manage external media agency search activities. Develop a robust link building / affiliate program, with support from the Social Media Manager and PR team for execution. Working with the Digital Marketing Specialist and Social Media Manager, develop a robust blog strategy to drive organic search and support customers on their purchase journey. The successful Digital Search Specialist will have: Good knowledge of marketing communications. Previous experience in a related role (i.e. SEO, digital marketing, web manager etc) Experience of analytical tools e.g. Excel, Google Analytics. Good knowledge of HTML and/or website content management systems. Capable of working autonomously. Presentation and negotiating skills. Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and resourcefulness. Flexibility to travel with full UK driver’s licence Excellent competency with SEO tools such as Google Adwords, Adobe Site Catalyst etc Excellent written English and strong attention to detail Marketing skills and commercial nous Confidence in communicating both internally and externally Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects, channels and agencies simultaneously If you are interested in the Digital Search Specialist position, then either call us on 02380222286 or e-mail your CV to us.
