Overview

Elevation recruitment are currently partnered exclusively with a global FMCG manufacturer based in Barnsley, who are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their fast-growing team. My client is looking for a forward-thinking dynamic and ambitious engineer who wants to progress their own career, as there will be lots of opportunities for this person to climb the ladder. Key Responsibilities: -Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to in line with company guidelines & standards -Conduct planned preventative maintenance routines, resolving or effectively reporting any defects discovered -Keep equipment downtime to a minimum through reactive breakdown intervention -Reporting responsibly (written and verbal) of day to day issues to supervisor/engineering manager -Give feedback on improvements to be made within areas on the shop floor Experience: -Minimum of 5 years' manufacturing experience within a FMCG environment -Apprenticeship trained in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering -Multi skilled qualification would be preferable, but isn't essential -If you are mechanical bias, you must be able to work safe electrically -Hungry to progress and develop This is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking individual who is wanting to progress & develop their career.
