We are looking for an Application/Design Engineer who will be reporting to the Operations Manager. We are going through a rapid rate of growth and expect this position to be a long-term commitment with realistic movement for career progression. We have a very competitive salary on offer dependent on experience – up to £35,000 including fantastic company benefits. The role will perform a wide range of tasks to support the department and wider business, including but not certainly limited to the following: Main tasks and responsibilities: 3D Modelling Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Twin drawings Engineering/ Piece part drawings Works instructions Technical troubleshooting Conduct sales enquiries and customer visits Bodybuilder/ Supplier liaison Dealer Support Pricing and cost controller Standards Compliance Advisor. What you’ll need to succeed: The ideal candidate should be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders, be self-motivated, capable of working under pressure, and able to operate with minimal supervision. They should be good team players and flexible with regards to tasks performed. Ideally you have: Be qualified to HNC or degree level in Mechanical Engineering Should possess good I.T. skills, including MS Office and the SAP ERP System Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
