Overview
Project Manager - Manufacturing - NPI - Derbyshire - upto 35k - Engineering / Manufacturing Degree or Equivalent - Monday to Friday 39.50 hours per week Macildowie are joining forces with a Global Company who are consistently working on providing solutions to improve durability, safety and performance for the products they produce. Our client specialises in Polymer materials, Rubber and plastics, providing machines, tools and accessories across the globe covering a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Offshore Solutions, Healthcare and Medical solutions to name a few. THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: The project manager's primary role is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and co-ordinating the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The projects manager will also define the objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Working closely with the R&D, Design and Production department to ensure the project runs smoothly and effectively. Direct and manage project development throughout the whole life cycle Develop full scale project plans and associated communications documents Liaise with project stake holders on an ongoing basis Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work Conduct project post mortem and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements The ideal candidate must have a Degree or Diploma within Engineering and have either come from a Project Management position or is a Project Engineer at the moment looking to get into a PM position. We are looking for a confident and resilient candidate who is great with working and managing different departments in order to ensure the end goals are achieved. If you have worked within Rubber, Composite or Plastics industry then this would be advantageous.
