Overview

Facilities Assistant job in Southampton Your new company You will be working for one of the UK's leading full service law firms, with offices in London, Wales, Thames Valley and the South Coast region, providing clients with practical and straightforward legal advice. Your new role You will be working as part of the Facilities team to assist with the running of the facilities for the Southampton office. This role will require you to carry out a variety of tasks including photocopying, ordering of stationery, franking the external mail, carrying out regular Health & Safety and maintenance tasks which could include repairs and installation of fixtures/fittings, assisting with desks moves, retrieval and archiving of files and providing cover on both Reception and the conference suite. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will need to be approachable, flexible and enjoy a busy and varied workload with the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will have good verbal communication skills as well as some previous experience in a facilities environment.
