Overview
Onezeero are working closely with a company in the ecommerce industry to recruit a software engineer to work on the re-platforming of an incredibly successful suite of products. They're currently very financially secure and have had record sales over the past few weeks. They're now looking to scale their product offering and optimise their technical capabilities to handle their current growth. You'll be involved in the early stages of the design and engineering of their range of internal and externally facing products; the tech isn't set in stone so you'd need to be agnostic and pragmatic in order to create tested, scalable and robust software. The programming language(s) you have used isn't too important - we've placed people here who come from organisations who use Ruby and .NET but they're open to engineers with commercial experience with any OOP language as the tech isn't set in stone and will change depending on what is decided between the team for each product. Some of the tech you'd get your hands on / need to have an understanding of is CI, CD, TDD (outside-in, inside-out), SOLID, Microservices, distributed systems, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Containerisation, AWS, Azure, service bus (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka). There is up to £50,000 on offer (depending on experience) plus a really strong benefits package.
