Overview

Leading US law firm housed in stunning offices is looking for a new Attorney Recruitment and Development Assistant to support the Attorney Recruitment and Graduate Recruitment and Development team. Responsibilities will include liaising with partners with regards to interviews, greeting candidates, collating interview feedback, issuing offer letters/paperwork to new joiners, setting up and updating all new joiner and leaver checklists, arranging induction programmes for all new attorney joiners in conjunction with all other support departments, requesting references and collating pre-screening checks for all new joiners, tracking all attorney probations, assisting with visa renewals for all existing staff and new joiners, issuing quarterly reminders to all fee earners regarding their CPD compliance statues, tracking all lateral applications on the Firmwide database and producing monthly reports tracking recruitment across the international offices. Other duties will include organising and attending law fairs, monitoring vacation scheme and training contract applications via CV Mail, assisting with organising assessment days for vacation scheme candidates, acting as the main point of contact for all future trainees, processing GDL, LPC and maintenance fees for all future trainees, assisting with the admin for associate and trainee reviews, attending bi-weekly calls with a stateside office regarding firmwide finance training and any other ad hoc duties as required. Candidates need to have a minimum of 12 months experience working within a law firm, or a Graduate with around 6 months experience within a similar role. Candidates must be bright, switched on and have strong organisational, client service and interpersonal skills; as well as excellent communication skills.
