Sterile Services Lead

Spire Cardiff Hospital has a fantastic opportunity for a Sterile Services Lead to join our wonderful team on a Full-Time basis. Duties and responsibilities As the Sterile Services Lead you will: To provide the multidisciplinary perioperative team with an exemplary sterile supplies service within the operating theatre suite. Lead the TSSU team and operationally manage the service ensuring all department work within the QMS and CE accreditation systems. Support the Theatre Manager in the overall management of the healthcare environment. The Sterile Services Department works closely with our Theatre team. Due to this you will become part of the patient's journey while they are with us at Spire. There is an element of manual handling required within the role, with full training provided. Along with training in other areas such as risk and infection control. Your team’s duties will include the following tasks; Reprocessing instruments Sterilising instruments Repackaging instruments Daily testing of equipment Who we're looking for Ideally have NEBSM Supervisory Management NVQ 1 and 2 Have a minimum of 4-5 years SST or Theatre experience.
