TSR (Total Store Reporting ) Data Analyst - 12 month FTC This International consultancy are a reliable and trusted insight partner for the world’s biggest companies and leading brands. They harness large data sets and innovative digital research solutions to provide answers for key business questions around consumers, markets, brands and media. They are seeking a talented TSR Executive / Data Analyst to cover a 12 month maternity cover. Job Description TSR Executive / Data Analyst The TSR Executive / Data Analyst plays an essential role in analysing and investigating weekly reports based on sales data generated from our key high street retail partners. The successful candidate will inspect and investigate any sales data that looks atypical and determine whether it is correct or not. Utilising internal systems, the TSR Executive / Data Analyst will be expected to scrutinise and sign off weekly data within a daily period so that reports can be dispatched to clients & partners on time and to a high quality. The TSR Executive / Data Analyst will be a query handler – they will need to be able to handle all data queries (internal and external) relating to the report they are responsible for as well as feedback their findings in a timely and accurate manner. The TSR Executive / Data Analyst will possess strong numerical skills, as the vast majority of the post holder's time will be spent analysing sales data, therefore it is imperative that the TSR Executive / Data Analyst is comfortable working with large numerical data sets. In addition, the TSR Executive / Data Analyst should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level (create pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc). Data Analyst Main Responsibilities · Ensure that all retailer data follows the data management process and contains data required by the Standardised Product World. · Ensure that each retailer is supplying up to date category/hierarchy information and to secure delivery of this information where it is not provided. · Work with the team to ensure data is run through the quality control processes according the best practices. · Carry out regular weekly checks on the report output to ensure quality and consistency within a scheduled time period. · Work with Commercial/Retail World team to ensure regular contact with data suppliers to deliver correct content. · Work with other teams to meet agreed sign off schedules/deadlines. · Maintain all documentation and best practices relating to Total SR reporting. · Adhere to contractual data confidentiality agreements. · Build market and product knowledge on all related products and panels. Skills and Experience · Good communicator in order to liaise with other teams as required. · Logical mind, able to demonstrate good problem solving skills. · Schedule driven and focussed on delivery. · A “can do” attitude and flexible approach is essential. · Flexible approach to working hours. · Attention to detail. · High skill level within Microsoft Office suite, particularly data manipulation within Excel and Access (create pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc). · Must have data processing experience and be confident when learning new systems. · Knowledge of the UK Retail Sector This vacancy is a (min) 12 month Fixed Term Maternity Leave Cover Contract An exciting work environment that brings people together.
