A fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to start a career within insurance as an Underwriter has become available. Working in superb, modern offices in the heart of Norwich you will be working for a well-established insurance company who offer first class training and benefits. You will not be required to necessarily have any previous insurance experience, however you will have some commercial/office administration experience together with good academic qualifications (A-level as a minimum). The role is suited for someone who is enthusiastic and hardworking. Reporting into the Underwriting Team Manager, the main tasks of the role will include: To process risks in accordance with the Group's underwriting philosophy and guidelines. To assist with taking telephone calls and dealing with correspondence for new enquiries and existing cases. To undertake case management when required To prioritise your work and maintain an acceptable workload.
