Overview

A large organisation based near Fenchurch Street/Bank are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team as they embark upon a new Azure-Based project to ingest and process large amounts of data from a variety of internal and external sources to assist in decision-making. You'll work as part of a dedicated Data Analytics function that has been tasked with creating a fully-fledged solution to help them gain a genuine competitive edge in data-driven decision making. Job Description You'll be responsible for the design and creation of highly-performant Data Pipelines using Python, to assist Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists in their aim of creating Scaleable Models that can be put in production to solve a number of business questions. You'll work a mixture of in-office and from home as part of a UK-based team with a global remit. Role & Responsibilities Data Pipeline/ETL design and creation Requirements gathering and designing efficient workflows to support wider analytics team Creating and implementing REST API's Skills & Qualifications High degree of Python experience for ETL/Data Pipeline creation, including working with internal and external data sources Demonstrable ability to work in distrubuted environments such as Hadoop and Spark, with large volumes of data High level of experience in REST API's design and implementation Benefits Starting salary of around £70,000 Up to 25% annual bonus Competitive pension contribution To apply for this role, please send an up to date CV to Owen Mitchell on or call for a catch up in complete confidence.
