Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant who is looking for a new opportunity that can offer real career progression and ACCA study support, all within a friendly and supportive environment? A leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in the North Liverpool area currently have a number of fantastic opportunities available following a successful merger. Since 2018, the firm have expanded rapidly and the exciting growth plans continue into 2020, with recruitment across all business areas and brand new office space. This is a varied and busy role that requires a candidate with proven experience in a similar accounts role, with an excellent understanding of cloud accounting software including XERO and Quickbooks. In return for your commitment, my client can offer a clear progression path, a full study package for ACCA and thorough on the job training. As your career develops with the firm, you will have the opportunity to work with your own portfolio of clients. The Accounts Assistant will have a wide variety of responsibilities including: Produce a full set of accounts for a range of clients VAT returns Complete management accounts Bookkeeping Basic tax computations The successful candidate will ideally have the below skills and experience: Proven experience in a similar role Experience within an Accountancy Practice is ideal but not essential Confident and professional communication skills Strong IT skills including use of Quickbooks and Xero This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable firm during a time of growth, expansion and ongoing success.
