Overview
Management Accountant Thetford £46k - £50k Currently working with a long-standing traditional business based in Thetford who are looking for a Management Accountant with a background ideally in the FMCG sector. This position is new and due to growth and development its key that they find the right applicant. Looking after a small accounts team, this position will be looking after all day to day running's of the accounts office. Supporting the Finance Director with all aspects of accounts ensuring the efficient management of day to day accounting activities; Responsibility for the month end close, producing board packs with accompanying commentary Oversee and maintain the integrity of transactional accounting functions whilst supporting junior members of the finance team. Production of month end Management Accounts with accompanying management information Support the preparation of financial statements Present all information to the Financial Director giving them clarity on performance to support key business decisions Complete VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat returns Reporting of financial forecasts and cash position Continually review and support improvement of reporting systems and procedures - Ad hoc support to the Finance Director The chosen applicant will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) ideally with prior experience of working in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment.
