Lead Project Manager required to join one of the largest telecoms company in Reading £400 - £450 VAT per day 6-month Contract In-scope of IR35 Umbrella or PAYE only Reading, Berkshire UK Your new company Our client is a renowned international telecoms company who connect with millions of people and companies using their powerful technology. Through their award-winning networks, our client impacts the lives of many through their digital transformation and services for their end client and customers. Right now, they require a Lead Project Manager to join their team to shape and drive multiple concurrent projects including significant, enterprise-wide solutions, steering the strategic and operational delivery of each requirement. Your new role You will take ownership of large complex client programmes in such a way that each underlying project is accomplished to the complete satisfaction of the client. You will lead each project from initial requirements gathering and scope definition, through to project delivery, functional testing and implementation. Dedicated to delivering world-class solutions, you will improve internal governance and processes for project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to cost and specification. What you'll need to succeed Your success will be driven by your proven track record in leading full life cycle Project Management in a similarly diverse environment, using industry standard methodologies such as PRINCE2, ITIL or APM. You will show outstanding stakeholder management and a flair for holding a strategic 'Birds-eye' view on the objectives of operational change, without the distraction of individual project issues or drivers. Experience of building relationships with cross-functional teams and strong negotiation skills will be critical to your success.
