Mobility Aids - Warehouse Volunteer Location:Unit 25 Parham Drive, Boyatt Wood Industrial Estate, Eastleigh Shifts available: We are interested in applicants who can commit to volunteering for four hours a week or more on any weekday (daytime Monday to Friday) on a regular basis. Come and join our friendly team based in Eastleigh and support your local community We provide people in your community with wheelchairs on a short-term basis. Our warehouse volunteers use their practical and organisational skills to clean and maintain our stock of wheelchairs and other mobility equipment. Your time will help keep people in your community stay independent by accessing a wheelchair. Activities include: Cleaning and maintaining our wheelchairs (and other mobility aids equipment) Assisting with loading/unloading wheelchair for delivery/collection/pop-ups Using a computer-based stock control system to update receipt of goods/service records/stock movements We Offer: The opportunity to meet new people and be part of a dynamic and inclusive team Free training and ongoing upskilling.
