Pay: Kent Range 3 Start Date: September 2020 We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our happy, friendly, supportive and forward looking school. The successful candidate will be required, under the direction of the class teacher, to support individual and small groups of children in one of our Key Stage 2 classes. Applicants should have achieved at least a GCSE grade C, or equivalent, in English and mathematics and be IT literate. Previous Teaching Assistant experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. The weekly hours, for this part-time position, are 30 and will cover both the morning and afternoon sessions. In addition it is expected that the post holder will also share in the supervision of children during lunchtime. These two and a half, weekly hours, are in addition to the TA allocated hours and are covered under a separate contract.
