Overview
My client is currently seeking a skilled, Software Engineer who will work primarily in Python and focus on assisting with deploying and supporting enterprise grade applications in their purpose built cloud (AWS) environment. This company is not only incredibly well funded but also, government back so about as stable as a business can be in this environment The role offers great exposure to the Data Science team and works alongside the Cloud and DevOps capabilities. It will report directly into the Full Stack Developer who will inform and provide guidance to this newly formed team. Responsibilities include: Working on programming, scripting and automation using Python ideally Golang and other languages Supporting for existing applications - tracking of issues and escalations Managing testing (pytest / Jasmine) Bug Fixing New feature development Experience: Front end experience essential (Git) Back end understanding Python coding skills (ideally 3 years but flexible if someone is technically strong and passes their assessment) Basic JavaScript Understanding of SDLC Desirable: AWS exposure Relational Database exposure My client is currently seeking a skilled, Software Engineer who will work primarily in Python and focus on assisting with deploying and supporting enterprise grade applications in their purpose built cloud (AWS) environment.
