Overview
Broster Buchanan have partnered with an exciting business based in Coventry with a view to find a Data Scientist to join a well-established team. My client is looking to pay between £40,000 and £45,000 for the right person. The role includes: To provide value added insights and recommendations to the business using data science techniques Pre-processing of structured and unstructured data Analyse large data sets to discover trends and patterns Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms Combine models through ensemble modelling Present information using data visual techniques Provide solutions and strategy to business challenges Collaborate with operational and service development teams The ideal person will have/be: BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative field Experience of working within a distribution / supply chain environment Knowledge of Hadoop, data clouds and machine learning Knowledge of R, SQL and Python Experience using business intelligence tools (Tableau) and data frameworks (Hadoop) Excellent communication, including presentation skills Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra) If you feel you feel this vacancy is what you are searching for and you have the skills, knowledge and /or experience to deliver then please apply and we will contact you to discuss the opportunity further
