In recent years they have established themselves as one of the leading firms in the UK and have over 500 IFA’s registered for this service. They have advised thousands of people about their pension options and have hands-on experience having dealt with virtually every major pension scheme in the UK. JOB DESCRIPTION The purpose of the role is to act as a trainee investment adviser in accordance with the responsibilities set out below. Ensure that all customers are treated fairly. Ensure that the Consumer Outcomes are always met. Duties include but are not limited to the below: To ensure all client interviews and telephone calls are conducted appropriately To ensure all administration, i.e. documents and research (fact-finds, reports, suitability and product confirmation letters), are completed in accordance with necessary standards. To ensure that the business quality standards are achieved (service standards). Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and client is prioritised based on need. To actively build constructive relationships with other members of staff (supervisor, manager, colleagues) and external colleagues. Ensuring all knowledge is kept up-to-date by referencing pensions publications, attending seminars and undertaking exams. WHO FITS THE BILL The business provides comprehensive on the job training which is supplemented with shadowing other roles and external training/seminars. In addition, they support trainees with their professional exams (relevant to their job), by reimbursing costs on successful completion. Good time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills Good numeracy. Use excel spreadsheets Use Transfer Value Analysis System (with training) Use IRESS/Salesforce database (with training) Maintain up to date knowledge on pension rules and legislation
