Billing Contact Centre Agent

Billing Contact Centre Agent (Inbound), 6 months- temporary to permanent. St. Mellons, Cardiff. £9.52 p/h Your new company A multi-award winning, reputable and established Utilities company based in St. Mellons, Cardiff Your new role Working as a Billing Contact Centre Agent, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls from members of the public, dealing with a variety of questions and queries around their utility bill. Full training will be provided, but you will have first class customer service skills, be comfortable speaking to wide range of customers, you will be polite and have a clear communication style and understand what great customer service looks like. Calls will include discussions around organising payments, moving of properties / changing of customer details, arranging payment plans and negotiating payments. What you'll need to succeed You will have a strong understanding of what first class customer service looks like, you will have fantastic listening skills and be comfortable dealing with a wide variety of situations. You will be natural problem solver, a lateral thinker and have empathy. Hours / Shifts - this department cover the hours from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and you will be required to work 2 in 9 Saturdays between the hours of 8.30am to 1.30pm. Shift patterns normally run weekly, some examples of shift patterns are 9am to 5pm, 11am - 7pm, 12 noon to 8pm. For the first three weeks you will undertake intensive training, for this training period you will work 9am to 5pm. Please note - a credit check will be undertaken as part of the clearance process for this position. The role is expected to last 6 months, you will then can apply for a permanent role. Hourly rate for the role is £9.52 per hour. It is a 37-hour working week. If you work a Saturday shift, you will get these hours off during a weekday of that working week.
