Project Manager
Overview
A local authority in East Lothian seeks a Project Manager to join their team on an 18 month contract basis. Working within a public-sector body based in Haddington, you will join the Asset and Regulatory team as a Project Manager. As part of the team, you will responsible for delivering and developing governmental projects, so as to facilitate the rapid growth the region is experiencing. As project manager, you'll be responsible for the management of the technical assessment, analysis and introduction of parking management proposals. You will work with the team and liaise with stakeholders to ensure the on-schedule delivery of the project, as well as being able to get past vital milestones in the project's development. You'll come from a transport planning and engineering background and have a proven track-record with delivering projects on time. You will have worked on complex transport projects, and be educated to degree level. You will be able to work toward tight deadlines. Experience in the parking industry is not essential, but is desirable. In return, you'll receive a salary of £36,000-£42,000 based on experience, pro rata on an initial 18 month contract.
