Electrical Design Engineer - Permanent - M&E Contractor - £30-45k Car Northampton - Your new company A medium sized M&E Contractor based in Northampton. They feature in all industry sectors from Schools, Universities, Offices, Hotels and Student accommodation offering clients a wealth of experience to find solutions in a commercial and sustainable way. They are able to provide a complete Mechanical & Electrical design and build package. More recently they have specialised in warehouses and distribution centres. Your new role You will act as lead design engineer on selected projects within the business. Attend client meetings and site meetings, design of all electrical services (CCTV, small power, lighting, BMS systems, data cabling, fire alarms etc). This position is predominantly office based. You will gain experience on a variety of projects across most industry sectors, (predominantly commercial) and have excellent opportunities to progress within the company. What you'll need to succeed This position would ideally suit an intermediate who is looking to make their next career progression but more senior candidates will be considered. You will have at least 1-2 years' experience in a Building Services design role within a consultancy or a contractor. HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering. Experience in AutoCAD, Amtech, Relux/Dialux.
