Experienced with Dementia accompanying very aggressive behaviours? Looking for a step into management? Service Details: The hospital have 2 wards. Ward 1 is A specialist 22-bedded male service set within apartment style sub-areas across a single story ward. This service is for individuals who require a period of comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, to demonstrate progress in a step-down unit ahead of eventual discharge. Ward 2 is a 16-bedded unit that provides specialist neurocognitive/dementia care service for males presenting with very agitated or aggressive behaviour. The gentlemen are admitted from a range of settings, which include those from placement breakdowns (either at their own home or a care environment), from acute psychiatric wards, or from prison settings. This ward offers assessment and treatment through to end of life care and this is the ward where you will be working The role will be primarily focused around the effective delivery of clinical care and working towards improving standards within the clinical areas of the service.
