Overview
This leading national firm has a vacancy for a Costs Solicitor to join their busy team. Based in Birmingham, you will work as part of a team handling costs for the Litigation Departments. Day to day responsibilities will include the following: Drafting bills of costs for detailed assessment Drafting Replies to Points of Dispute Drafting Costs Budgets and liaising with the opponent with a view to narrowing the issues or agreeing ahead of a CCMC Undertaking negotiations with the opponent Preparing applications for interim payments Working in line with internal SLAs and Costs Team benchmarks You will be able to demonstrate prior experience of managing a caseload of personal injury costs, ideally at all levels including multi track. Experience of working to billing and time recording targets and building relationships with internal contacts an advantage.
